I earned my weather forecaster’s license at 14. At the University of Tokyo, I studied the mechanism of climate change impact on tropical cloud systems. Then I spent a decade building AI strategies at consulting firms and Chief Strategy Officer at AI-startup, co-founding a climate tech startup — taking solutions from development to global deployment.
Through that journey, two things became clear.
First, the world genuinely needs what we’re building. Governments and communities across the Global South are asking for this — right now.
Second, realizing it requires a rare kind of team: people who can move fluidly from deep technical work to real-world implementation, without losing speed or scientific integrity.
For researchers and modelling engineers who care about impact: imagine your model running in a government operations center in a number of countries, not as a research paper, but as the actual tool shaping evacuation decisions. That’s what we’re building.
For those on the business side: picture yourself negotiating with ministries worldwide, then turning around to work with our modelling team to shape the solution — and watching it get deployed. That’s the job.
